These apartments are situated within the “Borgo Antico” complex, the historic centre of the village which offers a stunning 360 degree view over the roofs of the other houses and the green valley to the mountains of the National Park. They have been created within old manor house properties, renovated by Mario Maffei and his family since the year 2000.
The large courtyard which is shared by the apartments is the perfect place to spend afternoons in the sun and enjoy hours of complete relaxation. There are tables and chairs, umbrellas, a portico and a barbecue area so guests can dine in this timeless setting, for a rejuvenating and rewarding experience for all the senses.
The accommodation consists of mainly one bedroom apartments. Each has a double bedroom and a separate living room with kitchenette, equipped with all the accessories necessary to prepare meals, plus private bathroom with shower.
In some of these apartments, there is also a mezzanine area, where an additional double bed or futon can be placed if required. It can also serve as extra space in which to place a child’s bed, or a table to read and write or just a chair to meditate.
The other apartment, named “Il Granaio”, accessible via the large sandstone staircase, has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a Queen size bed, and a living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed. It also has a private bathroom and access to a small roof terrace which provides an extraordinary view of the valley.
